> Maine West Library- Librarians are always in need of assistance restocking shelves, decorating, and completing random odds and ends through out the year. Talk to one of the librarians at the front desk to learn how you can help.
> Counselor's Office and Front Office- From filing to running errands, school administrators could always use an extra hand in completing daily tasks that help to maintain an efficient school. Speak to someone at the front desk in either office to find out how you may be of service.
> Bessie's Table- Bessie’s Table began in October 2003, with a simple mission in mind; “Providing a hot home cooked meal, in a welcoming environment to individuals and families in need at no cost.” Operating on the “Stone Soup Principle”, we gather donated food items from various sources and create a complete meal. It is through these donations of goods that Bessie’s Table can prepare and serve each meal needed every Monday evening. CLICK HERE to find out more about volunteering.

Web Version Forward How was the first Winter Campaign in freezing weather?
Several people asked how the cleanup went in Saturday's 32 degree weather, so here is our report.
It was a sunny day with little wind, making it a beautiful day to help our neighbors! Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who came out and made a difference in the community.
We got 17 HUGE bags of garbage. We received many "Thank You"s from the residents. Micheal, a very nice resident, was headed out on his skateboard and saw us and joined in!
We have other campaigns tentatively planned for the cold weather, and as long as it is 30 degrees or higher with little wind, and little snow on the ground, we should be ok. It would be nice to have at least one more campaign around Robin Road as there is still lots of trash there.
Special thanks to our Maine West volunteers who worked and also spread the word about the campaign.
These brave volunteers did not let the cold stop them!
WARM regards, and thank you for supporting Clean Up - Give Back by reading our newsletters and keeping up with our work! Please forward to a friend who may also follow along with what we are doing in the community.
If you are a part of another club/organization in or out of school that needs extra help with an event, let Ms. Wisdom or any of the officers know so that e-mails and text messages can be sent out encouraging other members of National Honor Society to get some service hours in by helping out in whatever way they can.
